Interior with a personal note
Spanning some 1,000 square metres in total, the interior of the property comprises a living area with ten rooms and an office wing with eight rooms. The German designer used the property as both his private residence and business premises. The interior design of the mansion, which dates from 1910, is the work of Philipp Plein himself. Hence in some rooms, accessories can be found in his favourite materials fur and leather. Mr. Plein also had the former wine cellar transformed into a luxurious private spa. The grounds include some 2,000 square metres of parkland gardens complete with an outdoor pool.
The mansion is located in the historic surroundings of Amriswil – a town with a population of some 13,000 in the Swiss canton of Thurgau. It boasts a wide variety of cultural events and good connections to the nearby Lake Constance region and St. Gallen.
